This Blended Paediatric First Aid course combines an elearning module designed to give learners the theoretical knowledge needed to accompany a practical face to face training day. You will gain the knowledge and confidence to deal with incidents requiring medical assistance in a child, including calling for professional assistance in serious cases.
It meets all EYFS/Ofsted requirements as well as those of CSSIW and Scottish Early Years.
Tyro is approved to deliver First Aid training by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), approval number 099 | 97 (283).
Who is it for?
This course is designed for any individuals who are responsible for the care of children.
Certificate
On successful completion of this course, you will receive an FAIB approved Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and the FAIB Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate – both of which are valid for three years.
Duration
This course is delivered over 1 day in the classroom. Six hours theory based e-learning to be completed on any PC or mobile device prior to the practical day in the classroom. Learners can study at their own pace and log in and out as often as they wish.

Assessment
You will be assessed through ongoing practical assessments.
