This Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning will introduce learners to the skills required to plan, organise and evaluate events by developing their knowledge and understanding. Areas covered include marketing methods and resources, market research, human resources, communication and customer service relevant to events.
The TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual.
Who is it for?
The qualification is suitable for a wide range of learners who wish to develop knowledge and understanding of planning and running an event. It may be used as an introduction for those who wish to pursue a career as an event planner but also for learners in or preparing for a wide range of job roles in diverse sectors which require them to plan and organise events as part of their responsibilities.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive an TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning (RQF).
The duration of this course is 12 weeks via distance learning.
What will I learn?
This qualification consists of 5 Mandatory units:
- Communication and customer service for events
- Marketing and market research for event planning
- Planning an event
- Planning human resources for events
- Reviewing and evaluating an event
You will be assessed by completing all the required assessments with your tutor providing feedback following completion of each. All assessments must be completed and passed in order for you to successfully achieve the qualification.

- Level 3 Event Management
