This course aims to assist you in contributing to the management of risk at your workplace by conducting risk assessments or organising and implementing a risk assessment programme where this has not already been started. It is generic in nature and enables the principles to be put in place
Who is it for?
This course is designed for anyone with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments. It is particularly useful for managers and supervisors but it will be equally beneficial to individual workers, team leaders, technicians, engineers or any other personnel contributing to the risk assessment process
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice

You will be assessed through an assignment based on your own work environment
Candidates must identify a suitable premises, or part of a premises, to undertake a risk assessment. It is important that you choose a location that will allow you to demonstrate and apply a wide range of knowledge and skills
The assignment is completed after the course – the pass mark is 60%
