City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations Update (BS 7671 2008) 2382-20

The IEE 17th Edition Regulations were introduced on 1st July 2008, they are directed at all persons involved with electrical installations up to and including 1000v. This course is designed for personnel who wish to update from there 16th Edition to their 17th Edition.

The aim of the training programme is to enable the candidate’s to demonstrate their awareness of the changes from the 16th to 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations and be able to reference questions from the book.

Before the course begins, we must see evidence that you have successfully undertaken one of the following:

• City & Guilds 2381 Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:June2001
• City & Guilds 2330-07 Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures)
• City & Guilds 2330-08 Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance
• City & Guilds 2360 Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation Part Two (from 1 January 2004 onwards)
• City & Guilds 2351 Level 3 Certificate in Knowledge of Electrical Installation Engineering (from 1 January 2004 onwards) and only if achieved as part of an Electrotechnical Advanced Apprenticeship completed after 1 January 2004.

Please bring your original certificate into Tyro for a member of staff to take a photocopy. Your original certificate is also required on the first day of the course for the trainer to verify as a valid certificate. Failure to do this means you will not be able to sit the exam. If you do not hold any of the qualifications listed above, you must attend the full 5 day 2382-10 17th Edition course.
